Carriage
The carriage is where your domestic machine is going to sit. if you are using a Q'nique quilting machine, you will not need the carriage. -
Quilt Clips
Quilt Clips will keep your fabric straight and give you perfect tension. Simply attach your fabric to your quilting frame with less pinning. -
Bungee Clamps
The sleek profile makes these bungee clamps easy to attach and remove from your fabric. You can simply push the clamp right over your fabric to attach it, and push the new easy-release button when you want to remove it.

I have this frame set up with the Qnique 19 and LOVE it! I love that I can quilt a king size quilt on this frame or a small wall hanging. I am really happy with both the machine and the frame.

This product was chosen because of the limited space I had. I did not have room for an 8 ft+ frame. I knew I would be hooping my quilt on the frame, but it can be time consuming. Depending on the throat space of the machine, it varies on the depth of the stitching area. I have a 16" throat. I was able to quilt appx 37" across. There is a bar in the way on both sides that the carriage will bump against, but because it juts out a little bit, it will snag the wheel on that side if the machine is pulled/pushed vertically while along that bar. It make for a "bounce" and wonky stitch if I'm not careful. Other than being time-consuming to hoop and re-hoop due to positioning, this is my only other downfall of the frame. My side clamps don't seem to fit too well either. The ridge that comes together to have the bungee clamp slide on don't come together tight enough and make it very difficult to slip on. I highly recommend watching some YouTube videos on this frame to get a visual of it. Leah Day has several that are excellent at preparing what to expect. She even uses a smaller domestic machine. - I will say that if one has to use a pedal to control the machine, it is awkward. I am upgrading to a Q'nique 16x Elite so I can have handlebar controls. My current machine is not compatible with the Sure Stitch regulator that Grace sells. It's expensive anyhow. - This frame will work for me until I can take over a different room to get a larger traditional frame. I would recommend the hooping frame if this is the only space you have and you want a long arm experience.

Like most people who choose this frame, it's the largest I can accommodate in my sewing room. That said, this product has excellent quality and customer service. The only thing I would change about it is making it easier to extend the belly bar when using a ruler base. My husband always has to help me with that because the clamps are very tight. But in all honesty, that's probably a good thing in the long run. Highly recommend if you have limited space and an itch to quilt that can't be scratched with your current set up. BUT no one is giving you bad advice when they say get the largest quilt frame you can because while you can quilt any size on this frame, you will spend a lot of time shifting it. I love the QZone and would gladly buy it again.
